Free Workshops

Our free computer workshops fit into two categories. 2-hour independent topic workshops and 30-hour comprehensive workshops. Note: There is a limit of 12 people per workshop.

All the computers in the classroom are equipped with Windows Vista Business edition, Microsoft Office 2003 software and many other software packages. All the computers are connected to the Internet via a highspeed connection.

2-hour Workshops

These are currently offered almost every day of the month Mondays through Fridays from 1 ‑ 3 p.m. There are many different types of classes available to achieve your computer learning needs such as What is Windows?; Windows Basics; What is Word?; What is Excel?; Cut, Copy and Paste; Files and Folders and Intro to the Internet. Check schedules below for exact dates and times.

30-hour/10-day Workshops

We are currently offering 3 comprehensive workshops offered from 9 a.m. ‑ 12 noon. Requirements to attend any of these workshops include a basic understanding of Windows, ability to follow instructions and a functional literacy level. Typing skills are an asset.
